Finding out what it is to be a person is vital, but we will never know without a relationship with the One who designed us. There is no such thing as role-playing in a genuine relationship. Pretense in the nature of role-playing is just that; pretense! No reality! Death! Not alive! A robot! A camouflage! A LIE! A deception of being fooled in the believing of a independent-nature. This is why without faith it is impossible to please God; which means; we will never be satisfied! NEVER. A lost soul is not a person, but a lost soul. Believing is using the faith we have access to; or perhaps better said, has access to us; which of course would mean the faith of a Creator; such as Christ creating us anew in His resurrection. A babe in the womb doesn't have much choice, but is sustained by the source of another. But once born into a breathing, living being, begins the awakening process of what it is to be a person; both physically, and non-physically. And as Jesus said to Nicodemus, the wind blow where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from nor where it goes. It is the same with the Spirit. God is the ONLY Person there IS, and to know Him is to be made in His image. Never to be made as an independent nature. God is not as an independent nature. He is three as One. That is what it is to be a Person. The Father is known by the Son. The Son is known by the Spirit. The Spirit is known by the Father. Thus it is with us in being made alive in Christ Jesus' Resurrection. Once we are ALIVE we are not dead. Explain it any way you wish! But we are ALWAYS telling of Another-Life! A life that doesn't come from us, but is of God.
